2. General information on data processing

This website is a static single-page presentation. Personal data is processed only to the extent technically necessary. There is no registration, no contact forms and no analytics/tracking services are used, and I do not set any cookies for advertising or statistical purposes myself.

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and appealing presentation of the website).

3. Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). When you access the site, the host automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are typically:

• anonymised or shortened IP address,
• date and time of access,
• the file/page requested and the amount of data transferred,
• browser type and operating system used,
• referrer URL (the page visited previously).

This data is used for the technical provision, security and stability of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the host.

4. Getting in touch

If you contact me by email or phone, your details will be stored in order to handle your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (handling general enquiries). I will not pass this data on without your consent and will delete it as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Fonts

The fonts used (Manrope, Roboto) are served locally from this website's server. No fonts are loaded from external servers (e.g. Google Fonts) for this purpose; your IP address is not transmitted to Google or other third parties in the process.

6. Spotify content (embeds)

In the “Sound” section, players from Spotify AB (Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden) can be embedded. These players are not loaded automatically: they first appear as a preview with a notice and are only loaded after you actively click “Load player”. Only then is a connection to Spotify's servers established; in doing so, your IP address and information about your browser may be transmitted to Spotify and cookies may be set. If you are logged in to Spotify, Spotify can associate the visit with your account. I have no influence over this processing.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you tick the “Remember my choice” box, your consent is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so that the player loads directly on future visits; you can withdraw this consent at any time by clearing the website data in your browser. 7. YouTube video (embed)

In the “Placements” section, YouTube videos (official trailers or brand films featuring music by me) can be embedded. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). These videos are not loaded automatically: they first appear as branded preview tiles with a notice and are only loaded after you actively click the play button. Only then is a connection to Google/YouTube servers established; in doing so, your IP address and information about your browser may be transmitted to Google and cookies may be set. If you are logged in to YouTube/Google, Google can associate the visit with your account. To reduce data transmission, the video is embedded in so-called privacy-enhanced mode via the domain youtube-nocookie.com. I have no influence over this processing.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. If you tick the “Remember” box, your consent is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so that the video loads directly on future visits; you can withdraw this consent at any time by clearing the website data in your browser. 8. Linked titles & external links

The placement titles shown in the “Placements” section are displayed as text and link to the external pages (e.g. The Movie Database (TMDB), Wikipedia or the media library of the respective broadcaster). No data is transmitted to third parties for this when the page loads. Only when you click a link do you leave this website, and the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.

9. Transfers to third countries

No personal data is transferred to third countries during normal use of this website. A transfer to the USA or other third countries can only take place if you actively load the Spotify player (see section 6), load the YouTube video (see section 7) or follow an external link (see section 8). Spotify and Google generally base such transfers on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. It cannot be entirely ruled out that authorities in the respective country may access the data.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding personal data concerning you:

• right of access (Art. 15 GDPR),
• right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR),
• right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR).

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient to exercise your rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority includes the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
